Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Hydrate. From there you can switch plans or cancel. You can also get there from the app: Settings › Hydrate Pro › Manage subscription.
Hydrate Pro is $39.99 a year or $9.99 a month. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial; the monthly plan has no trial. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you reinstalled Hydrate or got a new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with, then tap Restore on the subscription screen that appears when you open the app. If you are already in the app, go to Settings › Hydrate Pro and tap Restore purchases. If your subscription still does not appear, email us at support@hydrateai.app.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments for Hydrate, so refunds are requested from Apple, not from us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your Hydrate purchase, and choose "Request a refund." Apple reviews every request and lets you know the outcome.
How do I delete my data?
Hydrate does not use accounts, so your data lives on your device and in your private iCloud. To erase it, open the app and go to Settings › Privacy & Data › Delete my data. The app shows exactly what will be removed (your water logs, daily reads, milestone photos and profile) and asks you to confirm. If you want a copy first, Export All My Data and Export Water Log (CSV) are on the same screen.
Two places keep their own copy and are managed outside Hydrate:
- —iCloud: to remove any synced copy, open iPhone Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage, choose Hydrate, and delete its data.
- —Apple Health: water you logged that Hydrate saved to Health stays in the Health app. Delete it there under Browse › Nutrition › Water.
Deleting the app also removes everything stored on that iPhone. Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription; see cancelling above.
What do you do with my data?
We never sell it, and your cycle, weight and HealthKit data never leave your device. Read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
